Survey
The RBUSD partnered with Project Tomorrow to develop research surveys on the state of Generative AI in K-12 districts. The LACOE Speak Up Snapshot: Addressing AI in Education surveys are a set of questions for students, families, educators, and administrators. Schools and school districts will be able to access their own data for planning purposes.
The collaborative will form a Task Force to guide its work. The Task Force will be composed of diverse individuals with varied perspectives, ensuring that the AI-IT's decisions are informed and inclusive.
Goals of the REAL Team
Establish AI Guidelines
The REAL Team will create a set of recommendations for the Responsible Use of AI in the district.
The goal is to establish clear guidelines for AI use in teaching, learning, and administrative practices.
Review Policies
Existing RBUSD policies will be reviewed to assess their alignment with AI principles.
Policy changes will be explored to ensure ethical and responsible AI integration within the school district.

Identify AI’s benefits and challenges in classrooms.

Speak Up Snapshot
The Speak Up Snapshot: Addressing AI in Education surveys are a set of questions for students, families, educators, and administrators.
Schools and school districts will be able to access their own data for planning purposes. The survey is designed to explore GenAI awareness, attitudes, and concerns about Generative AI in K-12 education. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is confidential.
